Arunachal Guv emphasizes accelerated road development for state's growth

Itanagar, Mar 4 (UNI) Arunachal Pradesh Governor Lt General (Retd) KT Parnaik has emphasized that the pace of socio-economic development in the North-Eastern state is directly linked to the successful implementation of infrastructure projects, particularly road connectivity.
He said that well-constructed and properly maintained roads are essential for timely development, improved accessibility, and economic growth in the region.
The Governor said this during a meeting he had with the Executive Director (Projects) of National Highways & Infrastructure Development Corporation Ltd (NHIDCL)’s Itanagar Regional Office, Brig (Retd) Ashish Gupta, who called on him at Raj Bhavan here on Tuesday to brief him on the ongoing NHIDCL projects in the state.
