Arunachal Guv confers State Awards

Itanagar, Feb 21 (UNI) Arunachal Pradesh Governor Lt General (Retd) KT Parnaik conferred the State Awards comprising Gold and Silver Medals to outstanding organizations and individuals for their exceptional contributions to public service and bravery in a ceremony held at the Durbar Hall of Raj Bhavan, Itanagar on Friday.
He also presented the Chief Minister’s Award for Excellence in Public Administration and felicitated the state's National Games 2025 medallists, in the presence of Chief Minister Pema Khandu, Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein, MP Tapir Gao and other dignitaries.
The State Gold Medal was awarded to seven organizations and three individuals, including the Donyi Polo Mission School for the Hearing and Visually Impaired, Chimpu, Tomo Riba Institute of Health & Medical Sciences (Cardiology Dept), Women Police Station (Itanagar), and Project Vartak (BRO), Donyi Polo Cultural & Charitable Trust (Itanagar), Ramakrishna Sarada Mission (Khonsa), and the Centre for Bear Rehabilitation & Conservation, Pakke Tiger Reserve, Seijosa.
