Jharkhand: Mother with three children jump into Well, all kids die

Giridih, May 9 (UNI) A woman jumped into a well with her three children in Giridih district of Jharkhand on Friday, resulting in the death of all the kids.

Police sources said that Arati Devi, resident of Khalsodih village under Devri police station area, jumped into a well with her three children. All the children died in the incident, while the woman is seriously injured and has been admitted to the Sadar Hospital for treatment.

The deceased children have been identified as Avinash Kumar (6), Rani Kumari (3), and Phool Kumari (2). Inspector Pascal Toppo and Officer-in-Charge Rishu Sinha reached the spot and conducted an investigation.

The incident is reportedly due to a family dispute.
A person who witnessed the incident raised an alarm, and villagers gathered and rescued the four from the well. However, the three children had by theb succumbed to their injuries. UNI XC AKT SSP
