Three Odisha govt-run medical colleges to be upgraded to AIIMS++ standards : Majhi

Bhubaneswar, Apr 30 (UNI) Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi announced that three government-run medical colleges in Odisha will be upgraded to AIIMS++ standards.
While reviewing the ongoing redevelopment work of government medical colleges and hospitals in the state on Tuesday, Majhi stated that the redevelopment of SCB Medical College in Cuttack is underway with an investment of Rs.474.49 crore.
The project is targeted for completion by June 2026. Upon completion of the first phase, the bed capacity at SCB Medical College will increase to 3,796.
