PM's promises a new chapter of his Bihar falsehood: Congress

Patna, Feb 24 (UNI) Congress on Monday alleged that promises made by Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his visit to the state were a new chapter of his "falsehood" for Bihar.
President of Bihar Pradesh Congress Committee (BPCC) Akhilesh Prasad Singh said Modi has been making "false promises" to people of the state for long. In 2015, Modi had promised a special package of Rs 1.25 lakh crores for Bihar but it hasn't been given to the state so far, he pointed out.
"Modi had promised construction of Airport in Purnia on August 18, 2015 but people are still waiting for the same, " the Congress leader said, adding the PM had given his pledge for constructing the Patahi airport in Muzaffarpur in 2019 but it was not fulfilled.
