Rift deepens between Congress and RJD in Bihar: Mangal

Patna, Feb 18 (UNI) Bihar Health Minister and senior BJP leader Mangal Pandey on Tuesday said that the rift between Congress and RJD had deepened in the state.
Pandey said statements of senior leaders of Congress indicated the fact that they were not prepared to accept the leadership of Tejaswi Prasad Yadav in the Grand Alliance in Bihar. Recent appointment of Congress in-charge of Bihar, Krishna Allavaru, a young leader from Karnataka, dropped enough hints that the party was preparing to dissociate itself from the leadership of RJD, he added.
BJP leader said that senior Congress leader Tarique Anwar tweeted after Delhi Assembly elections asking the party leadership to make it clear whether Congress will have to go alone in the Bihar assembly election or if its alliance would continue with RJD. If Congress was not prepared to accept the leadership of Tejaswi in the grand alliance, how would people believe him and extend their support in the Bihar Assembly elections scheduled to be held in October and November this year? he remarked.
