Nitish instructs to complete the construction of Airports at an accelerated pace

Patna, Mar 13 (UNI) Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar directed the authorities concerned to complete the construction of terminals of Jai Prakash Narayan International Airport.
Reviewing the progress of the construction work at Jaiprakash Narayan International Airport and inspecting the spot of the proposed International Airport in Bihta here on Thursday, Kumar asked the authorities to complete the construction work of terminals of Jai Prakash Narayan International Airport at the earliest for convenience of the travellers.
He said the airport was being expanded in view of the increasing number of travellers and better facilities were being established for them.
Kumar said that the travellers can avail the facilities with an increase in the number of flights from here.
During inspection the authorities apprised the chief minister that 11 aero stations were being constructed at this airport and all of the construction work would be finished by June.
While inspecting the spot for construction of Bihta International Airport, Kumar said that the airport will be constructed at the earliest after which international flights would operate from both of the airports. Travellers from Bihar will also get benefits once the airport in Bihta is operational. It will minimise the traffic pressure at Jaiprakash Narayan International Airport of Patna, he added.
He said to minimise the travel time from Jai Prakash Narayan International Airport to Bihta airport an elevated road was being constructed.
During the inspection the authorities apprised the Chief Minister with the details of the proposed Bihta airport and informed that 10 aero stations would be constructed here.
