Nadda applause, Manik Saha govt in Tripura, announces two schemes for girls

Agartala, Mar 9 (UNI) BJP National President and Union Health Minister J P Nadda announced two new schemes for girls.
Addressing a mass rally organised here to celebrate the 2nd anniversary of Dr Manik Saha led BJP government in Tripura on Sunday, Nadda announced 'Mukhyamantri Balika Samriddhi Yojana and 'Mukhyamantri Kanya Atmanirbhar Yojana' for girls.
He said under 'Mukhyamantri Balika Samriddhi Yojana', the state government would offer a bond of Rs. 50,000 for every girl child to be born in BPL families from now onwards. When the girl will turn 18 years, the bond will mature and she will be getting at least Rs 10 lakh.
Under'Mukhyamantri Kanya Atmanirbhar Yojana' 140 toppers of girl students who passed higher secondary from Tripura Board of Secondary Education, CBSE, and ICSE will get a scooty.
“The schemes are designed to empower the daughters towards a bright future,” Nadda said.
Reiterating the Prime Minister's commitment to the development of Tripura, Nadda said the share of central tax for Tripura has increased more than three times after enhancement of the devolution of taxes.
“Before Modiji took over, Tripura got Rs 9000 Crore as share of central tax and after 10 years the state is getting Rs 46000 Crore. Similarly, grant in aid from the centre has increased by 73 percent and reached Rs 54000 Crore besides several other financial incentives and projects for the development of the state,” Nadda underlined.
Highlighting the development under BJP’s rule, party Chief pointed out that BJP government in Tripura has doubled farmers income, brought over 20,000 hectare areas under organic cultivation, ensure sustainable connectivity of Tripura with rest of the country by express trains and air, multiple the employment opportunity, and improved law and order.
“The crime rate of Tripura has improved impressively and now it stands at third from the bottom because of pro-people governance and commitment of the government to the people. The status of women has also marked a significant milestone in terms of safety, security, and empowerment,” Nadda added.
Addressing the gathering, Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha asserted that because of the BJP government’s initiative Tripura is now’ militancy free’ and the law and order situation has improved. There is no political murder now and violence. The government is fighting tooth and nail against narcotic drugs to make Tripura free from abuse of drugs.
“We are preparing to fill up 8000 posts in various departments of the state government; the people of the state are now benefiting from all the schemes of the state and central government,” said Dr Saha.
He also highlighted the fact that the state government has achieved remarkable success in GDP and per capita income in the state, which have registered remarkable growth during the BJP government's rule, along with massive infrastructure development.
“There will be no remote place in Tripura and people belonging to all sections will live happily forever in this state; we will leave no problem unresolved and all the conspiracies of the CPI (M) and Congress for capturing power through the backdoor will be resoundingly defeated,” Dr Saha added.
