Howrah-Patna Vande Bharat Exp departs with 16 coaches instead of eight : Eastern Railway

Kolkata, Feb 13 (UNI) The Howrah-Patna Vande Bharat Express on Thursday chugged off with 16 coaches instead of 8 coaches due to increase in popularity and demand of the semi-high speed train, Eastern Railway said.
Vande Bharat Express train, which had already gained momentum in passenger patronization for their top class comfort and high-speed travel with monitoring at the apex level so that these high-speed trains maintain a proper time schedule and reach destinations o­n time.
The Howrah-Patna-Howrah Vande Bharat Express was commissioned o­n September 24, 2023 and the commercial run began two days later, gained huge patronisation from the commuters, sources said.
