Bihar : Ruling party and opposition welcome air strike on terrorist camps in Pakistan

Patna, May 6 (UNI) The ruling party and the opposition welcomed the action of the Indian Army on nine terrorist hideouts in Pakistan after the Pahalgam attack in Jammu and Kashmir.

Welcoming the action on Wednesday, Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary on social media X described the Indian Army as pride of the Nation. Vijay Kumar Sinha, also a Deputy Chief Minister, has written that it was clear on the day of Pahalgam attack itself that Pakistani terrorists would not be spared.

Sinha said, "Under Operation Sindoor, India has struck a heavy blow on the hideouts of nine terrorists hiding in Pakistan and Pakistan Occupied Kashmir, he said adding that this is the answer of the 56-inch chest."

RJD leader and the leader of the Opposition in Bihar Assembly, Tejaswi Prasad Yadav, welcoming the Army action wrote on his social media account that India, Indians and Indian Army have never and will never tolerate any form of terrorism and separatism within its territory.

He said the Indian Army always stands to protect the people especially women of the country adding that the people of India believe in truth, non-violence and peace. "Indians never do wrong but if someone does wrong to us then we do not tolerate it."

Yadav further said, "If those who foster terrorism try to attack our unity, integrity and sovereignty, we know how to give a befitting reply in a united manner. 140 crore Indians are with the Indian Army and Government in this fight against terrorism."
