We bow to our Nari Shakti: PM on International Women's Day

New Delhi, Mar 8 (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday extended his wishes on the occasion of International Women's Day, bowing to the strength and power of 'Nari Shakti'.
He highlighted his government's commitment to empowering women through various schemes and programs. He said, "The government has always worked for empowering women, reflected in our schemes and programs."
"We bow to our Nari Shakti on #WomensDay! Our government has always worked for empowering women, reflected in our schemes and programs. Today, as promised, my social media properties will be taken over by women who are making a mark in diverse fields," he wrote on X.
On International Women's Day, the PM also handed over the control of his social media accounts to women making a mark in diverse fields.
Scientist Elina Mishra, Indian chess Grandmaster R. Vaishali, and Shilpi Soni, a space scientist, were among the women achievers who took over his X handle.
Along with the wishes, the Prime Minister also shared a video titled 'Nari Shakti: Viksit Bharat Ki Sabse Badi Gurantee, highlighting the importance of women's empowerment.
