Delhi CM announces Rs 300 crores budget for mitigating pollution

New Delhi, Mar 25 (UNI) The Delhi Government on Tuesday allocated Rs 300 crores for controlling pollution in metropolitan city which has become major health hazard.

Chief Minister Rekha Gupta presented one lakh crore budget for the year 2025-26 and also announced 500 crores for environment and forest department.

Delhi has become most polluted city in the world, and it has caused health issues to children and elderly citizens.

Stubble burning, construction dust, and vehicle emissions cause serious pollution problems. It is because of that the BJP government is focusing on controlling pollution.

Water and air pollution need major attention to provide people better air quality as well as clean drinking water.
