EAM Jaishankar holds bilateral meeting with US Secy of State Marco Rubio

Washington/New Delhi, July 1 (UNI) External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar today met with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio on the sidelines of the Quad Foreign Ministers’ Meeting in Washington.

The two sides discussed the bilateral partnership including trade and shared perspectives on regional and global developments.

In a post on X, the EAM said: “A pleasure meeting US @SecRubio this afternoon, on the sidelines of Quad Foreign Ministers’ meeting.

“Discussed our bilateral partnership including trade, security, critical technologies, connectivity, energy and mobility.

“Shared perspectives on regional and global developments.”The meeting comes after the EAM, along with his Quad counterparts, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Australian FM Penny Wong, and Japanese FM Takeshi Iwaya, met for the Quad Foreign Ministers’ Meeting.
