Cong forms committees for Ahmedabad AICC session

New Delhi, Mar 22 (UNI) Ahead of the AICC session scheduled to be held in Ahmedabad in Gujarat, Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge on Saturday approved the formation of several committees with immediate effect.
The AICC session is scheduled to be held on April eight and nine.
According to a statement issued by party general secretary K C Venugopal, the committees include Reception, Co-ordination, Accommodation, Session Venue, Session Dias, CWC Venue, Food, Media, Registration, Volunteers Management, Culture, Transport, Publicity, Control Room, Protocol, Gandhi
Ashram and Health committees.
The Reception committee will be headed by Gujarat Congress chief Shaktisinh Gohil, while Amit Chavda will be its convener; Mukul Wasnik has been appointed as the chairman of the Co-ordination panel; Himmatsinh Patel will be the chairman of the Accommodation committee.
For the Session Venue committee, Jagdish Thakor has been made its chairman and Bharatbhai Solanki has been made the head of Session Dias committee. Siddarth Patel has been appointed as the chairman of CWC Venue committee and Nilesh Patel will look after the Food committee.
Moreover, Ameenben Yajnik will head the Media committee, Anand Chaudhary will be the chairman of Registration committee.
