India asks China's state-run CCP mouthpiece Global Times to cross-check facts, not peddle disinformation

Beijing/New Delhi, May 7 (UNI) India today asked China’s state-run Global Times to verify its facts and cross examine sources before pushing out disinformation peddled by Pakistan.
The Indian Embassy in Beijing said this to Global Times, the mouthpiece of the Chinese Communist Party, in response to the Chinese media house posting that the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) has shot down Indian fighter jets, quoting sources in the Pakistani military establishment.
“Dear @globaltimesnews , we would recommend you verify your facts and cross-examine your sources before pushing out this kind of dis-information.”
