PM chairs high-level meeting to review security

New Delhi, May 12 (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi held yet another meeting with Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar and chiefs of three Services, during which he was apprised about the latest developments on the border.



National Security Advisor Ajit Doval and Chief of Defence Staff Gen Anil Chauhan were also present.



The meeting took stock of security situation after India and Pakistan declared a ceasefire.

The ceasefire came into effect on Saturday 1700 hrs after two countries launched a barrage of missiles and drone attacks against each other that raised alarm about a full-fledged war.



Since Operation Sindoor, the Prime Minister has been regularly monitoring the security developments.
