Kushinagar (UP), Apr 21 (UNI) Sis persons were killed and two others were injured when a car collided with a tree in Nebua Naurangia area of Kushinagar district here in Uttar Pradesh, police sources said here on Monday.
Police sources said that a wedding procession went to Devgaon in Nebua Naurangia area from Narayanpur Chargawan under Ramkola police station area on Sunday. "Late on Sunday night around 11 am the car going in this wedding procession suddenly lost control and collided with a tree on the roadside near Bhujauli Shukla village," they said.
Police sources said that the collision was so severe that the car was badly crushed and eight persons in it were trapped inside. "On receiving the information, senior police officers reached the spot. After cutting the car with the help of a gas cutter, the persons trapped inside were taken out. But by then six had died," they said.
Police sources said that two persons having serious injuries were taken to Medical College Ravindranagar Dhus. "The accident was so severe that the bodies and the injured were taken out by cutting some parts of the car with a gas cutter after about an hour.
Police sources said that an Aadhar card was found in the car on which Bhim Laxman Yadav (23) with Srinagar Worli Pada Wagle Estate West Thane Maharashtra as address is printed, "The car is registered in the name of Om Prakash Madheshiya. It is being said that the victims' mobile numbers were locked due to which information about their family members could not be obtained," they said.
