Jagdalpur, May 1 (UNI) The Inspector General of Police (IG) for Bastar region in Chhattisgarh, Sundarraj P, has said that the ongoing anti-Naxal operation in the Karengutta hills for the past nine days aims to liberate the area from the control of the banned Maoist organisation and make the land safe for its original inhabitants.
He revealed that the outcome of these operations is not limited to the number of Maoists killed or arms recovered. The objective of the operation is to free the area from the Maoist organisation's control and restore safety for the native residents.
