Jammu police nab fraudster issuing fake appointment orders

Jammu, May 5 (UNI): Continuing its commitment to curbing criminal activities, Jammu Police have arrested a fraudster who was issuing fake appointment orders, a spokesman said on Monday.
The police spokesman said multiple fake appointment orders, electronic gadgets, and cash were also seized from his possession.
The spokesman said on May 2, a case was registered under relevant sections at Police Station Miran Sahib and an investigation was started by the police.
He said during the investigation, a fraudster, namely Tej Bushan Sharma, resident of Lower Gadi Garh, was arrested.
Multiple fake appointment orders were recovered from his possession along with fake stamps, a computer desktop and cash amounting to Rs 2,50,000, he said.
He added that further investigation in the case is underway.
“Jammu police assures the public that no stone will be left unturned to put the criminal elements behind bars and ensure prompt justice is delivered to victims,” said the spokesman, adding that the general public has applauded this prompt action by the Police Station Miran Sahib. UNI VBH SSP
