Punjab Police crack down on human trafficking, 7 travel agents arrested

Chandigarh, Feb 28 (UNI) Cracking down on human trafficking, Punjab Police have arrested seven travel agents since February 5, when the US began repatriating illegal Indian migrants, state Cabinet Minister for Non-Resident Indian Affairs Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal said on Friday.
The police have also inspected 1274 locations and registered cases against 24 travel agents.
The minister said 337 Indians living illegally in America have been deported, with 131 being of Punjabi origin.
