Sonbhadra (UP), May 4 (UNI) A middle-aged man was killed by unidentified miscreants and later his body was buried in a pit in Obra area of Sonbhadra district here in Uttar Pradesh, a police officer said here on Sunday.
Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Kalu Singh said that the head of Panari village informed the Obra police station at 7 pm on Saturday that a person was murdered in the forest of Panari and the body was buried in the ground. "On this information, the Sub Divisional Magistrate Obra and the police team reached the spot in the night itself and took out the body," he said.
He said that the body was identified by the people present at the spot as Anil Shukla (49), a resident of Obra. "The police have detained two people in this case and are interrogating them. The case will be disclosed soon," he said.
