Gujarat Board Class 12 general stream results declared, 93.07 pc pass

Gandhinagar, May 5 (UNI) The Gujarat State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education announced that 93.07 per cent of students passed the Class 12 general stream examination, a slight increase from the previous year.
Announcing the results here on Monday, state Education Minister Kuberbhai Dindor said that girl students have outshone boys this time too.
The passing percentage of girl students is 95.23, which is about 4.45 per cent more than the 90.78 per cent of boys. A total of 362,506 students appeared for this examination.
Out of them, 3,37,387 students have passed. The best result was of Banaskantha district with 97.20 per cent, and the weakest was of Vadodara district with 87.77 per cent.
It is noteworthy that 83.51 per cent of the candidates have passed in the results of Class 12 science stream examination.
The results are available on the board's website, and a special toll-free WhatsApp number has also been issued for information.
In 2023, 73.27 percent of candidates passed in the general stream of the board, while in 2024, 91.93 percent passed.
