Himachal: Three more superspecialties shifted to AIMSS Chamyana from IGMC Shimla

Shimla, Apr 29 (UNI) In a step towards decongesting Indira Gandhi Medical College (IGMC) and expanding the services of the newly built Atal Institute of Medical Super Specialities (AIMSS) at Chamyana, the state government has announced complete shifting of three key departments—Gastroenterology, Urology and Plastic Surgery—to the superspecialty hospital.
As per the official notification issued by AIMSS Principal on Tuesday, this transition would come into effect from May one, and would include indoor wards, operation theatres and laboratories.
