Last rites of martyr Subedar Kuldeep Chand performed with military honours in Hamirpur village

Hamirpur (Himachal P), Apr 13 (UNI) The last rites of Subedar Kuldeep Chand of district Hamirpur, who died while fighting bravely with terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir, was performed with full military and state honours in his village Kohlvi in ​​Galod tehsil of the district on Sunday.
His son performed the last rites.
Earlier, when the mortal remains of Kuldeep Chand reached village Kohlvi in ​​an army vehicle with a military contingent on Sunday morning, the wailing of his family members made everyone's eyes moist and the entire village echoed with the slogans of "Kuldeep Chand Amar Rahe".
During the last journey of the soldier, the youth of the area took out a rally of two-wheelers and four-wheelers and bid a last farewell to the brave son, with the slogans of "Kuldeep Chand Amar Rahe" and "Hindustan Zindabad".
The contingent of Army and Himachal Pradesh Police also bade a last farewell to Subedar Kuldeep Chand by firing in the air and turning the weapons upside down.
On the occasion, on behalf of the Himachal Pradesh government and administration, Deputy Commissioner Amarjit Singh, SP Bhagat Singh Thakur and SDM Rakesh Sharma paid tribute to the soldier by offering a wreath on his mortal remains.
