2 men sentenced to life in prison for murder in MP

Bhind (MP), May 9 (UNI) A court in Madhya Pradesh's Bhind district on Friday sentenced two accused to life imprisonment in a murder case.

According to the prosecution, Mehtab Singh Yadav's cousin Monu Yadav attacked him with an axe on October 11 in Ratnupura village under Dehat police station area. Mehtab later died during treatment.

In this case, another cousin Manoj Yadav was involved at the scene of the crime and was threatening to shoot if anyone came to the rescue.

The police registered an FIR against both the accused and presented the challan in the court.

On the basis of evidence and witnesses, the district court convicted both the accused and sentenced them to life imprisonment and fine.
