Punjab: Bajwa moves HC against FIR

Chandigarh, Apr 15 (UNI) Leader of Opposition in Punjab Assembly, Pratap Singh Bajwa, on Tuesday knocked on the doors of Punjab and Haryana High Court against the FIR filed against him over his "50 bombs in Punjab" statement, sources said.
The HC is likely to hear Bajwa's plea on Wednesday.
Sources close to Bajwa said that he has prayed in the petition that the FIR (first information report) filed against him be quashed and no coercive action should be taken against him.
Notably, police had summoned him for questioning on Monday, but Bajwa's lawyer sought time.
The LoP appeared at Cyber Crime police station, Mohali on Tuesday.
