Modi govt wants Punjab to give water to Haryana: Mann

Chandigarh, Apr 29 (UNI) Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Tuesday alleged that the BJP-led Union government was playing "dirty tricks" with the state and was trying to arm-twist it into sharing the state's water to the BJP-ruled states of Haryana and Rajasthan.
Mann, in a video statement, said that Haryana had already used its share. He said if the BJP wanted to give water to Haryana, it should first divert the water, flowing to Pakistan, to Punjab's dams and when the state's dams were full, it should be shared with Haryana.
"Currently, we do not have a single drop of water to share with Haryana," Mann said.
