Bhopal, May 9 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav chaired a high-level meeting at Samatva Bhawan (CM residence) on Friday to review the state's security arrangements.
He emphasised that national security is of utmost importance and directed that citizens' safety be given top priority in view of the current situation.
The Chief Minister instructed senior officials to focus on essential citizen services, strengthen their arrangements, and implement all necessary security measures with immediate effect.
Yadav stressed that any anti-national propaganda should be strictly curbed, and citizens should be informed and encouraged not to pay heed to rumours.
He also emphasised that security around important central and state government establishments should be given special attention.
The Chief Minister reviewed the current security arrangements, citizen facilities, and inter-departmental coordination in the state.
He directed officials to improve their coordination and be prepared for any emergency situations.
Yadav also instructed that officials and field staff of departments responsible for providing citizen facilities should not go on leave until the situation returns to normal.
The meeting was attended by senior officials, including Chief Secretary Anurag Jain, DGP Kailash Makwana, and other senior police and administrative officers.
