Shimla, May 9 (UNI) Taking strong note of a recent dog bite incident involving a schoolboy in Sanjouli, the Additional District Magistrate (Law & Order), Shimla, has directed the Municipal Corporation to take urgent steps to control the stray dog menace across the city.
The directive follows a complaint submitted by social activist Karam Chand Bhatia, whose son was attacked by a stray dog while returning from school.
Expressing concern over the increasing threat posed by stray dogs, especially in residential areas, historical spots, markets, roads, and narrow alleys, Bhatia urged the administration to act before a more serious tragedy occurs.
