Himachal: Tourists flout traffic norms in Kinnaur, Solan

Solan / Kinnaur, Apr 15 (UNI) The rising influx of tourists in Himachal Pradesh is being shadowed by a disturbing trend — blatant violation of traffic norms, particularly on the National Highways and key inner roads.
In two separate incidents, tourists were seen dangerously riding out of vehicle roofs and side windows in Solan and Kinnaur districts, risking not just their own lives but also endangering others on the road.
At the Kumharhati bypass on National Highway-5 in Solan district, tourists from neighboring states were spotted violating traffic rules, causing serious traffic disruptions.
