UP Tourism to organise heritage walks on World Heritage Day: Jaiveer Singh

Lucknow, Apr 16 (UNI) The Uttar Pradesh State Tourism Development Corporation Limited (UPSTDC) is organising special heritage walks across five cities of the state, including Varanasi, Lucknow, Prayagraj, Jhansi and Agra, on the occasion of World Heritage Day on April 18.
Speaking at the launch of the heritage walk and tour packages, UP's Tourism and Culture Minister Jaiveer Singh said the goal is to connect people, especially youth, with the state's rich historical and cultural heritage.
He said, "Through these heritage walks, participants will explore the architectural marvels, historical significance and vibrant culture of these cities. The events will include expert-guided tours, cultural performances and local cuisine tastings. The broader aim is not only to boost tourism but also to spread awareness about heritage conservation."
