UP showcases state attractions on global stage in Dubai: Jaiveer Singh

Lucknow, Apr 28 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh is making a strong impression at the Arabian Travel Market being held in Dubai from April 28 to May 1 as iconic sites such as Rumi Darwaza, Bara Imambara and the Clock Tower in Lucknow, along with other major attractions, are being showcased to an international audience.
Tourism and Culture Minister Jaiveer Singh on Monday said that the rich heritage, architecture and cultural diversity of Lucknow and other parts of UP are being presented to attract foreign tourists. "Alongside Lucknow's attractions, sites like Buland Darwaza in Fatehpur Sikri in Agra, the National Chambal Sanctuary and the Buddhist Circuit are also being promoted.
He said, "Our goal is to establish Lucknow as a leading destination on the global tourism map. Landmarks like Rumi Darwaza and Bara Imambara are not only the pride of Lucknow but also invaluable symbols of Indian culture and history."
