Himachal Hydro Workers Federation pledges support to all India strike against privatization and labor codes

Mandi, Apr 15(UNI) A significant meeting of the Himachal Pradesh Hydro Worker Federation was held on Tuesday at Tarachand Bhawan in Mandi, chaired by State President Madan Negi, where it pledged support to all India strike against privatization and labor codes
The meeting saw the participation of representatives from various power projects across Himachal Pradesh, signaling growing unity among hydro power workers against the central government’s privatization policies and newly implemented labor codes.
Representatives from Karcham Wangtoo (Madan Negi), Baira Suil (Dharamchand), NHPC (Lalit), Parvati I (Mohar Singh), Parvati II (Lalit), Parvati III (Mohar Singh), Luhri (Dinesh Mehta and Pradeep), Rampur 1500 MW (Suram Ram), 412 Project (Anand Singh), Sunni (Hemraj and Prem Prakash), and Chamba (Sudesh) were present.
