Ram' helps in character building: UP Guv

Ayodhya (UP), Mar 4 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Governor and Chancellor of state universities Anandiben Patel on Tuesday said that the life character of Lord Ram teaches the people to stay away from discrimination, which is very important for the development of the country.
While addressing the golden jubilee celebrations of Dr Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University, the Governor said that it is the main responsibility of educational institutions to regain what is lost and to give it shape and form. "It is the duty of teachers to imbibe quality, education and values among students. Education is helpful in the overall development of students. The youth will have to make a huge contribution in the competition taking place at the global level," she said.
She said that it is the responsibility of today's generation that the youth of all fields should make their important contribution in the coming future. "In the National Education Policy, students have the freedom to choose multiple subjects. With this, we can train our students in every field. It should be decided at the university level that new experiments should be done to promote the interest of the students," she said.
