Hyderabad, Mar 22 (UNI) Telangana IT and Industries Minister D Sridhar Babu informed the Assembly on Saturday that the state government is providing several incentives to women-owned and women-centric enterprises in the state.
Replying to questions raised by members of the house during question hour, Babu explained that under the T-IDEA Scheme, the government is offering an investment subsidy of 15 percent on the total investment, limited to Rs 2 lakh for the general category. However, for women-owned enterprises, an additional 10 percent subsidy is provided, totaling up to Rs 30 lakh.
The scheme also includes a 100 percent reimbursement of stamp duty and transfer duty, along with a 25 percent rebate in land cost, limited to Rs 10 lakh, in industrial estates and industrial parks.
