BJP accuses Rahul Gandhi of orchestrating 'open war against the Indian State'

Bengaluru, Mar 16 (UNI) The Karnataka BJP on Sunday launched a blistering attack on Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, accusing him of orchestrating an "open war against the Indian State" by championing policies that allegedly prioritise appeasement over constitutional principles.
In a strongly worded post on X, the BJP slammed the decision of the Congress government in Karnataka to introduce reservations for Muslims in government contracts, branding it a "Black Day for the Constitution." The saffron outfit alleged, "The party that crushed democracy during the Emergency is now tearing apart the Constitution to serve its vote bank."

The party further alleged that the Congress leader was the driving force behind policies such as reservations for Muslim contractors, which it described as religious discrimination and blatant appeasement.
