Chennai, Mar 8 (UNI) On the occasion of International Women's Day, Dr. Suneeta Reddy, Managing Director, Apollo Hospitals, called for creating a truly equitable and inclusive environments for women, while emphasising that empowering the next gen was paramount.

Young woman's body found in Tungabhadra river

Haveri, Mar 14 (UNI) A young woman’s body was found in the Tungabhadra river in Halageri police station limits on March 6, and investigations have revealed that she was murdered, Haveri Superintendent of Police Anshu Kumar said on Friday.
According to him, the post-mortem conducted the following day confirmed that the victim had been killed before her body was disposed of in the river. After efforts to establish her identity, the deceased was identified on March 11 as Swati Bydagi, a resident of Masur village in Haveri district.
