Amid Oppn criticism, CM allocates Rs 58 cr for Chintpurni Shrine Development

Shimla, Mar 6 (UNI) Amid criticism from the Opposition BJP accusing the government of diverting shrine donations for state resources, Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has announced the allocation of approximately Rs 58 crore for the development of infrastructure at Mata Shri Chintpurni Temple in Una district.
The funds, drawn entirely from the state’s own resources, would be utilised for the beautification and upgradation of the temple premises.
According to the state government spokesperson, the key projects include the construction of a modern queue complex with lift facilities, installation of purified drinking water systems, and comprehensive CCTV coverage to ensure security.
