TGBIE awards marks to students for incorrect questions in English exam

Hyderabad, Mar 10 (UNI) The Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TGBIE) has decided to award marks to students who attempted Question No. 7 in the English Second Year question paper of the Intermediate Public Examination held on Wednesday.

A statement from TGBIE said that this decision comes after the Board received representations from some students regarding inaccuracies in the question, specifically related to the pie chart.

Following a thorough review by subject experts, the Board concluded that awarding marks to all students who attempted the question was the fairest solution.

The TGBIE reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining transparency in examinations and ensuring no student is disadvantaged due to unforeseen errors.

"The TASMAC issue is of grave concern. We believe the Chief Minister should answer for it in the Assembly, even during the budget session.
