Telangana CM convenes emergency meeting to review security post 'Operation Sindoor'

Hyderabad, May 7 (UNI) Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has convened an emergency meeting with all concerned officials at 1100 hours on Wednesday at the Integrated Command and Control Centre (ICCC) in Hyderabad to review security preparations in the wake of Operation Sindoor.

According to an official statement, the meeting will focus on reviewing security measures to safeguard all major installations and key strategic locations under the Central, Defence, and State governments.

The state government will extend full support and cooperation to the National Armed Forces and work closely with them to ensure a coordinated response.

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy will personally monitor the situation on a war footing to ensure heightened security, safety, and total vigilance in Hyderabad and across all cities, towns, and villages in Telangana.

The public has been advised to remain vigilant but reassured that both the Centre and State governments are working together to ensure their safety.

“We request total cooperation from all citizens during this time,” the statement added.
