Former Union Min Suresh Prabhu honoured

Chennai, Mar 14 (UNI) Former Union Minister Suresh Prabhu was oin Friday
honoured for his outstanding contribution to the Nation by Srisrimal Balad family
and Team Trading Corporation Company.
Srisrimal Balad Family, Team Trading Corporation hosted an exclusive closed
room gathering at a star hotel in Chennai to honor Mr Suresh Prabhu.
Two distinguished legal stalwarts, Mr. R. Sankaranarayanan, Additional Solicitor
General, Madras High Court and Mr. Jayesh Dolia, Senior Counsel, were also
honoured on the occasion for their outstanding service to the legal fraternity.
Speaking at the event, Mr Suresh Prabhu said he was at a loss of words on
being conferred this honour.
He said when he was the Union Minister he his biggest challenge was to deal
with the power shortage.
He said that former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa and Andhra Pradesh
CM Chandrababu Naidu had achieved the record in signing big power projects.
Bringing together esteemed guests, family members, and industry leaders, the event
was a celebration of leadership, governance, and legal excellence.
The gathering fostered insightful discussions, reflections on India's progress, and
expressions of gratitude for the honorees' contributions.
