Law & order deteriorating in AP: Ex-CM alleges

Anantapur, (AP) Apr 8 (UNI) Alleging that the law and order situation in Andhra Pradesh has deteriorated and the democratic process is at risk with Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu’s manipulative and coercive politics in local bodies by-polls, former Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy warned the police not to work like watchmen of ruling party as they have to pay for their wrongdoings.

Speaking to media at Raptadu after consoling the family members of Kuruba Lingamayya, who was murdered in the Ramagiri Mandal, Jagan Mohan Reddy flayed that Chandrababu had been trying to grab local bodies where TDP had no numbers by threatening, using coercive methods, and pressing police into service to win a few seats.
