KTR accuses Telangana CM for holding secret meetings with BJP leaders

KTR accuses Telangana CM for holding secret meetings with BJP leaders

Hyderabad, Mar 14 (UNI) BRS Working President KT Rama Rao (KTR) on Friday accused Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy for allegedly holding secret meetings with BJP leaders to protect his soon-to-be-vacated CM post.

He criticised these alleged meetings, calling them an example of opportunistic politics. In a post on his social media account, KTR remarked that he had never witnessed such "perverted petty politics" in Telangana's political landscape.

Rao claimed that these secret meetings were intended to create unrest and disrupt the state. KTR further alleged that Congress leaders have a history of creating discord among the people to maintain their positions of power.

The former Minister questioned whether Rahul Gandhi, who recently accused BJP of infiltrating Congress, would have the courage to respond to the alleged secret dealings of his party's own Chief Minister with BJP leaders.

He challenged Rahul Gandhi to take action against Revanth Reddy, referencing BJP MLA Raja Singh's comments about Revanth. KTR criticised Congress leaders for pretending to oppose BJP in public while allegedly collaborating with them behind closed doors.

Rama Rao condemned Revanth Reddy for neglecting urgent state issues such as the agricultural crisis, farmer suicides, and rising student deaths in Gurukul schools.

KTR remarked that despite these pressing concerns, the Chief Minister was finding time for clandestine meetings. He called this an unforgivable betrayal, accusing Revanth Reddy of attempting to strike a deal with BJP after being perceived as an unsuccessful Chief Minister.

The BRS leader claimed that Telangana society would not tolerate what he termed "vulture politics" and warned that people would reject both Congress and BJP for their alleged backdoor political maneuvers that ignore the interests of Telangana.
