KTR alleges Rs 10,000 cr land scam, accuses Cong-BJP nexus in Telangana

Karimnagar, Apr 12 (UNI) BRS working president K T Rama Rao launched a scathing attack on the Congress-led Telangana government, accusing it of orchestrating a Rs 10,000 crore land "scam" involving prime forest lands around Hyderabad Central University (HCU) in Kancha Gachibowli.

Speaking at a party meeting in Karimnagar, KTR alleged that the Congress government mortgaged 400 acres of HCU forest land and diverted public resources for private gain.
He demanded clarity on whether the lands were mortgaged, sold, or illegally allotted, and questioned the Rs 170 crore commission reportedly paid on a loan deal.

KTR also accused Chief Minister Revanth Reddy of dishonesty, calling him a “fabricated leader” and alleging the use of forged documents.
He claimed that BJP, particularly Bandi Sanjay, was shielding Revanth, suggesting a covert alliance between the two national parties.

Raising environmental concerns, KTR slammed the government for ignoring deforestation and alleged that the Moosi River development project was the next big scam, worth Rs 1.5 lakh crore.

The BRS leader further accused Congress and BJP of neglecting Karimnagar's development and demanded urgent repairs to the Kaleshwaram project. He claimed 520 farmer suicides had occurred since Congress assumed power.

The meeting also outlined BRS’s silver jubilee plans, including a massive rally in Warangal and a statewide membership drive.
