Hyderabad, Apr 5 (UNI) Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar dashed off a letter to TTD Chairman B R Naidu, urging the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) to expedite the construction of a temple in Karimnagar, which has seen no progress since its Bhoomi Puja in 2023.
Commending TTD for its remarkable efforts in spreading Dharma across the country and supporting underfunded temples with essential offerings like Dhupa, Deepa, and Naivedyam, the Minister highlighted the importance of accelerating the Karimnagar project.
He pointed out that while permission was granted for the temple in 2023 and the groundbreaking ceremony was held on May 31 on a 10-acre land parcel, no further steps have been taken since.
