North-South trough runs from North interior Karnataka to South Tamil Nadu: Met

Amaravati (Andhra Pradesh) , Mar 22 (UNI) A north-south trough runs from North interior Karnataka to south Tamil Nadu at 1.5 km above mean sea level, Meteorological Centre said on Saturday.
In a daily weather report here, it said that Friday’s trough or wind discontinuity from south Chhattisgarh to South Interior Karnataka across Telangana and North Interior Karnataka at 1.5 km above mean sea level has become less marked.
Thunderstorm accompanied with lightning is likely to occur at isolated places in Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam and Rayalaseema during the next three days.
