Amaravati, Apr 3 (UNI) A trough in easterlies runs from South Interior Karnataka to southwest Madhya Pradesh across the above cyclonic circulation over Marathwada at 0.9 km above mean sea level, Meteorological Centre said on Thursday.
In a daily weather report here, it said that an upper air cyclonic circulation lies over north coastal Andhra Pradesh & adjoining south Odisha at 0.9 km above mean sea level.
Wednesday’s upper air Cyclonic Circulation over south Chhattisgarh & neighbourhood at 1.5 km above mean sea level has become less marked.
Thunderstorm accompanied by lightning and gusty winds with speed ranging from 40-50 kmph is likely to occur at isolated places in Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam and Rayalaseema during the next 72 hours.
Light to moderate rain or thundershowers is likely to occur at one or two places in Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam and Rayalaseema during the next seven days.Rainfall occurred at one or two places in Rayalaseema and dry weather prevailed in Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam during the last 24 hours.
The highest maximum temperature of 37.8 degrees Celsius was recorded at Nandigama in Coastal Andhra Pradesh on Wednesday, the report added.
