Thunderstorm with lightning, gusty winds and hailstorm likely in Telangana in next 48 hours: Met

Hyderabad, Mar 21 (UNI) Thunderstorm accompanied by lightning, gusty winds speed ranging from 40-50 kmph and hailstorm is likely to occur at isolated places in KomaramBheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Jagtial, Peddapalli, Jayashankar Bhupalpally districts of Telangana during the next 24 hours, Meteorological Centre said on Friday.
Thunderstorm accompanied by lightning and gusty winds speed ranging from 30-40 kmph is likely to occur at isolated places in Telangana during the next three days.
Light to moderate rain or thundershowers is likely to occur at isolated places in the state during the same period.
Dry weather is likely to prevail in Telangana from March 24 to 27.
Rain occurred at one or two places in the state during the last 24 hours.
The highest maximum temperature of 39.6 degrees Celsius was recorded at Medak in Telangana on Thursday, the report added.
