BFC, FC Goa set for SF showdown at Kanteerava

Bengaluru, Apr 1 (UNI) Bengaluru FC will look to carry the momentum from their emphatic 5-0 playoff win against Mumbai City as they take on FC Goa in the first leg of their Indian Super League (ISL) semifinal at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium here on Wednesday.
The Blues, who booked their spot in the last four with a commanding performance against the Islanders, will be eager to make the most of their home advantage before heading to Fatorda for the return leg on Sunday.
"It is a semifinal between two strong sides, and the bench strength of both teams will be very important. Nobody from my camp thinks that the job is done. You can see that the players want something; they are hungry for more," said Bengaluru FC head coach Gerard Zaragoza, speaking to the media on the eve of the fixture.
