Rehabilitate villagers affected due to Gargai project within time limit: Maha CM

Mumbai, Mar 26 (UNI) Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Wednesday directed concerned officials to immediately send a proposal for rehabilitation of villagers affected due to the Gargai Dam project.
Presiding over a meeting held with Forest Department at legislature regarding the Gargai Dam Project and the water treatment plant of 2,000 MLD capacity, he said that both the Gargai dam and the water treatment plant at Bhandup are important projects for Mumbai.
The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation and the Forest Department should jointly take measures to solve the problems related to completion of these projects in a timely manner.
